Most single-family roofs are done in two to four days once we start, depending on size, pitch and the weather. Larger or more complex roofs take longer. We give you a timeline with the quote.
You do not need to move out and you do not need to be home. It is noisy, so plan around it if you work from home or have young children napping. We will need access to the driveway and to power.
It happens on a minority of roofs and you cannot see it until the old roofing is off. We show you the affected area, tell you what it costs to replace before we do it, and you decide. We do not do the work and bill you for it afterwards.
We tear off. Going over an existing layer hides the condition of the decking, adds weight, and shortens the life of the new roof. It also limits what the manufacturer will warrant.
