The Stonnex labour warranty covers defects in workmanship on the roofing system we installed. It is provided by Stonnex Construction Ltd., it is transferable once to a subsequent owner of the property on written notice to us, and it begins on the date of substantial completion.
Materials are covered separately by the manufacturer, not by Stonnex. Manufacturer terms run up to 50 years depending on the product specified. These are limited warranties. They are typically prorated after an initial period, they cover material defects only and not labour, and they carry their own registration and transfer conditions. We register your materials with the manufacturer on completion and provide you the documentation. Claims under a manufacturer warranty are made to the manufacturer. We will help you file one.

Do not authorize repairs by another contractor before we have inspected, as doing so voids the labour warranty on the affected area.

Damage from outside the roofing system — wind above the manufacturer's rated speed, hail, fire, falling trees, seismic events and vandalism. Also work done on the roof by others after completion, foot traffic and rooftop equipment installed by others, blocked or unmaintained gutters, ponding on flat systems where slope correction was not in the quoted scope, and pre-existing conditions we did not replace.
